Microsoft Excel is an excellent application that can create graphs, data tables and make make types of calculations. The software features calculation, graphing tools and pivot tables. I like that the setup is very user-friendly and very easy to make accurate graphs. Though sometimes finding information of tools can be difficult. This software is very useful in science or math class to organize data.
Apple iWorks Numbers
Numbers is just basically apples version of excel it is almost identical because you start of with the grid button and you have all the same functions as excel, What you do with excel is you make spreadsheets and maybe graphs so basically anything to do with numbers. There are no built in templates but there are templates for graphs but not for spreadsheets. The useful tools in this software is how they made excel even better by making the buttons more easily visible and not as complicated. This software does what it is intended to do because it is all about numbers and anything you think of numbers you can do on this software. I like how it is easier maneuver than excel and it is all a lot more simpler. I don't like how i am so used to excel that it sometimes feels to different that it gets annoying. It could be used by making graphs and so many different things you could use it in math class.

It is an excellent application for people who want to make a graph easily. It's got 5 kinds of graphs which are bar, line, area, pie, xy graphs. It is easy becasue it clearly tells you where to go to do something. However, because it is made to let people make a graph easily, it doesn't have as much tools as applications such as excel which sometimes make this application to be useless. However, one goodo thing except that it is easy is that it lets you e-mail the graph to yourself or print.
